Fostering a Community

We know that your time in the classroom is only one element of your college experience. Where you live, how you live, and who you live with are foundational to your time at TFC. Residence Life is committed to providing a residential experience that enhances students’ educational pursuits at Toccoa Falls College.

The Residence Life Mission

The mission of Residence Life is to foster spiritual growth through community living on campus, in the Residence Halls, and within the TFC community. Residence Life encourages students to:

  • Learn how to integrate biblical and theological truths regarding loving one’s neighbor into daily living
  • Establish meaningful relationships with others by participating in hall and campus activities
  • Explore the impact that similarities and differences in background and values have on one’s perspective
  • Examine beliefs about God, the world, and themselves through formal and informal interactions within the campus community

Your RA + Finding Your Belonging

Resident Assistants, also known as RAs, encourage and empower you to find a deep sense of belonging at Toccoa Falls College. RAs are hired students who help manage Residence Halls. More than that, they communicate important information, help students who are experiencing difficulties, plan diverse programs and events, assist students as they adjust to collegiate life, and maintain an inclusive atmosphere conducive to all students’ academic, spiritual, and personal pursuits.
