School Counselor Workshop

Toccoa Falls College will host our School Counselor Workshop on Friday, March 5, 2027. This one-day conference offers professional development for high school counselors, home study administrators, and those who assist high school students in preparation for college. The event is free to attend and includes meals during the conference, relevant seminar topics, and the opportunity to connect with other field experts.

Financial Aid
The college admission and financial aid process is ever-evolving. Knowing how to advise students in this process is a big responsibility as a school counselor. This seminar will equip you with an in-depth understanding of the college financial aid process to best guide your students to success.
Continuing Education
This continuing education seminar is designed to equip school counselors with practical strategies, current insights, and renewed perspective to strengthen their daily practice. Participants will leave better prepared to support students academically, socially, and emotionally while growing in their own professional effectiveness.
Dual Enrollment
This topic is likely one of the top questions you receive from students and families. This seminar will give you valuable insight from dual enrollment experts on the basic facts, insights, misunderstandings, and benefits of dual enrollment.
Meals & Tour
This day is designed to be a professional development opportunity and an enjoyable day out of the office. With that in mind, breakfast and lunch will be provided. We will also offer a tour where you can see and experience the waterfall and the beauty of our campus.
