Toccoa Falls, Ga. (May 14, 2024) — Toccoa Falls College is proud to recognize Dr. Brian M. Peek as the recipient of the 2024 Vulcan Materials Company Teaching Excellence Award. Dr. Peek began his service at TFC in 2017 and currently serves as the chair of the Natural Sciences & Mathematics Department and Professor of Chemistry and Physics.

Under his direction, the department has grown to include concentrations in Public Health, Ecology and Environmental Science, and Pre-Professional. With these additions, students have flexibility to choose specialized training and can prepare for a wide range of career interests following graduation. Dr. Peek likes that at TFC, there is a “strong sense of Christian fellowship and community,” and he demonstrates a deep commitment to students both in and outside of the classroom.
