Toccoa Falls College Celebrates Retirees
Toccoa Falls, Ga. (December 29, 2023) – TFC is honored to have Christian faculty and staff who demonstrate godly character and encourage students, both inside and outside of the classroom. After years of dedicated service, Toccoa Falls College wishes to announce the retirement of the following employees and thank them for their impact at TFC!
Phil Gilbert has served in TFC’s maintenance department for 48 years and holds the position of HVAC Maintenance Supervisor. Phil’s coworkers thank him for being good friend and mentor who is always ready to assist in any way he can, whose skill and knowledge have helped keep TFC going. Phil plans to continue working part time, and the maintenance department wishes him well in retirement and looks forward to his continued “easy going presence that make the days more enjoyable.”
Kristen Chiles joined the TFC family in May of 2014 as the Manager of Student Accounts and has served our community well for almost 10 full years. In her time at TFC, she has enjoyed connecting with students and their families while learning about their graduation plans, summer trips, and who they are going to marry. Though she will miss those interactions, Kristen looks forward to spending more time with her family in retirement.
As Phil and Kristen embark on retirement, our community salutes them for their wonderful contribution to Toccoa Falls College. Please join us by praying for them in this exciting next chapter!
