Toccoa Falls, Ga. (February 20, 2024) – Earlier this month, Toccoa Falls College had the opportunity to host the 2024 World Outreach Conference (WOC). This conference occurs yearly at TFC and exposes students to the global church and the incredible Kingdom work being done worldwide.

This year’s theme was “Between The Rock and a Hard Place.” As believers, the Great Commission is of utmost importance even through difficult seasons. TFC explored this theme with multiple plenary sessions led by guest, Bao Her, throughout the week. Mrs. Her is the Assistant Vice President for Alliance Missions, an organization devoted to demonstrating Christ’s compassion through restoring communities and transforming lives globally.

The conference provided students with opportunities to connect with over 20 missionaries and agency representatives from across the globe, ranging from refugee work, international relief and development, international church planting, camp ministry, and teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL). Over 25 countries were represented, and in addition to daily chapel sessions and interactive booths, the International Fair presented a unique opportunity for students to experience games, activities, and foods from other cultures. Though interactive and fun, the WOC was life-changing in the conversations, testimonies, and renewed feelings of hope that were evident.

Toccoa Falls College is thankful for the lasting impact of this conference in the lives of TFC’s students, faculty, staff, and community. No matter what troubles may come, Jesus is the firm foundation on which we can build our lives, and His invitation is open to all (Romans 10:13). What a blessing to share this good news globally and locally!

Thank you to everyone who helped make the World Outreach Conference possible. TFC looks forward to seeing how God will continue moving in our own community and beyond.
