Toccoa Falls, Ga. (June 21, 2024) – Toccoa Falls College is pleased to announce Micah Ryals as the new Men’s Basketball Coach.

For the past four years, Ryals has had great success and impact serving as the Women’s Basketball Coach at TFC. During this time, he has been recognized by the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) for his devotion to athletes on and off the court. He was awarded the NCCAA DII South Region Coach of the Year as well as the NCCAA National Coach of the Year during the 2022-2023 season. Additionally, he led the Women’s Basketball Team to the NCCAA Division II National Tournament two years in a row. Under his leadership, many of his players have received regional and national recognition including First- and Second- Team All-Region, All-American, and more. 

His influence as a coach has made a significant impact in the lives of his athletes and the TFC community as a whole. When asked about Ryals’ accomplishments with the Women’s team, Athletic Director, Josh Taylor, describes him as being, “very diligent with his work and spends countless hours studying film and teaching on and off the court… He has shown so much courage to build the foundation by bringing excitement into this program and teaching his players life lessons that go on and off the court.”

Toccoa Falls College looks forward to Coach Ryals continuing to make a difference on campus as he transitions into leadership of the Men’s Basketball Team. TFC thanks him for his continuous leadership and encouragement for athletes who are competing to bring glory to God!
