Toccoa Falls, Ga. (December 7, 2023) – As the Christian College of Georgia, Toccoa Falls College is committed to developing servant leaders, no matter the context. With over 45 program options at TFC, students can pursue various professions that serve the community at large.

TFC alumna Hope Brockway is a perfect example of this. Hope graduated from TFC in May of 2023 and majored in both Biology, with a concentration in Public Health, and Bible and Theology. She felt God’s calling to further her education, and, beginning in January of 2024, Hope is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Public Health (MPH) with a concentration in Health Promotion and Behavior.

Through her admittance into an MPH program, Hope is excited to continue her Christ-centered education. With a passion for helping people and serving vulnerable populations with limited access to care, Hope recognizes the need for Christians in the field of public health. She believes that due to Christians knowing the creator of the universe, Christians should have the most impact in the field of science because “we are, in essence, studying about our Creator.” Many careers within public health are on the front lines, responding to natural disasters, humanitarian crises, and emerging pandemics. Hope plans to act as the hands and feet of Christ as she takes this exciting next step on her journey.

Toccoa Falls College congratulates Hope Brockway on becoming a Master of Public Health candidate and looks forward to seeing her impact on the field of public health and the Kingdom of God. To learn more about programs at TFC, please visit tfc.edu/academics.
