What does Safety and Security look like at TFC?

As parents, guardians, and loved ones, your student’s safety is at the forefront of your mind when it’s time to send your student off to college. At TFC, we want you to know that we take the safety and wellness of our students seriously.

Here’s what you should know:

There’s only one way on and off our campus, and it is monitored by a security guard station. Those without TFC decals outside of regular work hours are stopped. Every license plate is captured by the camera as well. While most colleges are accessible by the general public at all hours, TFC is set off the road and protected. Security staff are present 24 hours a day and seven days a week. Security staff perform routine inspections of campus buildings, both academic and residential. Campus curfew and separate men’s and women’s dorms make it easier to spot those who may be out of place. Mental health is a serious consideration regarding student safety. Free, Christian mental health counseling is available to all TFC students. Residence life staff is also trained to respond to mental health crises. Every student deserves to have a safe college experience. Our goal is to provide every resource to protect that right. If you have more questions about how we do that, please visit our safety and security page or get in touch with our Director of Admissions, Shelby Ryals, at sryals@tfc.edu.
