Biology Student

Toccoa Falls, Ga. (April 22, 2024) – As we celebrate Earth Day, TFC would like to highlight the Department of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. The department recently began offering two new Biology Major concentrations on top of the existing Pre-Professional option, including Ecology and Environmental Science and Public Health.

With the exciting new options and growth of the program, the department is launching the “Keeping God’s Voice in Science and Mathematics” Campaign to meet the educational needs of students through new and refreshed laboratory equipment. TFC asks that you would prayerfully consider giving to this initiative which will help connect students with a premier Christian education in the expanding field of science and mathematics.

Rayna Buher, a sophomore at TFC, describes the impact this program has made in her own life,

“I feel at home here as a Biology major. The community at TFC is like no other, and it is exactly what I have prayed for. Everyone here is incredibly intentional and interested in you, and that goes beyond being a student, but a human created by God. This includes the professors, who genuinely care and pray for their students and invest in their lives beyond academic success. I love being in a place that challenges me spiritually and mentally as I pursue a degree in Biology.”
