Toccoa Falls, Ga. (May 31, 2024) – Toccoa Falls College is honored to have faculty and staff who lead students well by demonstrating godly character in their work. After years of dedicated service, TFC wishes to announce the retirement of the following employees and thank them for their incredible impact at Toccoa Falls College.

Linda Bainey began her TFC journey in 1996, when she accepted a position in the Registrar’s Office. She currently serves as the Assistant Registrar for Certification and Scheduling and will retire at the end of May. She and her husband, Roy, have pastored Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Toccoa for the past 28 years and plans to enjoy each day to the fullest in life as a retiree. She describes her experience by saying, “It has been a blessing to work at TFC… I have many fond memories that I will treasure forever! Thank you to everyone for walking along this journey with me.” TFC sincerely thanks Linda for faithfully serving our campus for over 25 years!

Paula Elkins came to TFC in 1999 and has held the position of the President’s Administrative Assistant for 25 years. During this time, she has served four TFC presidents and will retire at the end of May. She and her husband, Gary, look forward to retiring in Florida. TFC extends gratitude to Paula for all that she has done to make a difference in our community.

Fred Gingrich was hired as the Program Director for the Master of Art’s in Marriage and Family Therapy (MAMFT) Program in 2021. In his three years at TFC, he celebrates the implementation of the MAMFT Licensure Program and the design and implementation of the Counseling Ministries Program (MACM) and Graduate Certificate in Trauma Therapy. He thanks his colleagues and students at TFC who he will miss working with. TFC appreciates the dedication of Fred during his time here and wishes him well as he steps into retirement in July.

Though Toccoa Falls College will miss Linda, Paula, and Fred, we celebrate their accomplishments and extend special thanks to each of them for making TFC a better place. Our community salutes them for their wonderful contribution to TFC! Please join us by praying for them in this exciting next chapter.
