Toccoa Falls, Ga. (November 1, 2023) – Toccoa Falls College is excited to invite you and your family to our upcoming Christmas festivities! At TFC, Christmas is one of our favorite times of the year, celebrating the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ.

This special weekend of activities begins with a Christmas concert on Thursday, November 30th at 7PM at the Grace Alford Performing Arts Center. This concert will feature the TFC choir, singing men, the English handbell choir, and the wind ensemble. Immediately following the concert, a reception will be held at the Falls where guests can enjoy cookies, hot chocolate, and the jazz ensemble while admiring the beautiful 186’ waterfall lit at night. For guests in attendance who require accommodations, golf carts will be available for transportation to and from the Falls. This event is free and open to the public.

On Friday, December 1st at 10AM, TFC will hold an all-community Chapel with an exceptional guest speaker from New York City. Jon Tyson has a heart for Christ and is known to “lean into hard things” by addressing topics that many fear to address to become a better Bible-based leader. He serves in one of the largest cultural and future missionary contexts of the world, the urban center. Tyson is the lead pastor of Church of the City New York, and he has written over 20 books on Christian life and discipleship. We look forward to hosting him at TFC and welcome the community to join us for this free event!

This weekend of events will end on Sunday, December 3rd at the Toccoa Symphony Orchestra’s Christmas concert and art show. The art show will take place from 2-4PM in the Grace Alford Performing Arts Center and will provide opportunities to find unique gifts handcrafted by local artists. The concert begins at 4PM and will include Christmas classics, holiday favorites, and the chance to sing-along. This is free for TFC students, and tickets are available for purchase by the community at toccoasymphony.org.

Please make plans to join us as we celebrate the Christmas season. We look forward to a weekend of encouragement, celebration, and fellowship with one another. Your friends at Toccoa Falls College wish you a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!
