National Christian College Athletic Association<\/a> (NCCAA) for his devotion to athletes on and off the court. He was awarded the NCCAA DII South Region Coach of the Year as well as the NCCAA National Coach of the Year during the 2022-2023 season. Additionally, he led the Women\u2019s Basketball Team to the NCCAA Division II National Tournament two years in a row. Under his leadership, many of his players have received regional and national recognition including First- and Second- Team All-Region, All-American, and more. <\/p>\n\n\n\nHis influence as a coach has made a significant impact in the lives of his athletes and the TFC community as a whole. When asked about Ryals\u2019 accomplishments with the Women\u2019s team, Athletic Director, Josh Taylor, describes him as being, \u201cvery diligent with his work and spends countless hours studying film and teaching on and off the court\u2026 He has shown so much courage to build the foundation by bringing excitement into this program and teaching his players life lessons that go on and off the court.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
