Students are encouraged to seek emotional wholeness and spiritual maturity, realizing healthy persons make better counselors. Testimonial

This program taught me how to prepare my faith for the hardships of the counseling world, whether it be in a secular or Christian setting. The professors teach in a way that is engaging and challenging. On top of the Bible-centered content, the professors create learning experiences that stretch students out of their comfort zone and prepare them for the realities of the counseling profession. One of my favorite experiential classes was a trip to Reigns of Life, where we were facilitated through an equine group therapy session. The professors are extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy with years of experience in varied counseling fields. I am now a year away from completing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at a CACREP accredited school. I felt beyond prepared when I began the program and often notice I have more background knowledge than other students due to the level of rigor and dedication the Counseling Psychology professors offer at TFC.
