Toccoa Falls, Ga. (July 12, 2024)—As with each new school year, Toccoa Falls College is excited to welcome new students and reconnect with returning ones. The fall semester begins next month, and students can look forward to many improvements across campus, including residential areas, common spaces, and lecture halls.

Residential students who are living in Forrest Hall, LeTourneau Hall, Powell Terrace Dorm, Hilyard Cottage, Tyler Cottage, and Brown Cottage can enjoy various new features to enhance their experience on campus. These renovations may include new flooring, roofing, central HVAC units, and more, depending on the residing space. LeTourneau Hall, one of TFC’s female residence halls, now offers fully renovated bathrooms throughout the building’s common spaces. Forrest Hall, TFC’s primary male residence hall, has completed Phase One (of three) of the Transform Capital Campaign. The brand new Fetterman Wing, previously called C-wing, will hold its grand opening for students to enjoy for the first time in August! TFC is currently in Phase Two of this multi-million dollar project to completely renovate Forrest Hall and transform the lives of students for generations to come.

The new “Screaming Eagle Cafe” will also open for the first time in the fall! This space, previously called the “Eagles Nest,” will offer an additional dining option for students in a beautiful space where they can study, connect, and relax between classes. Staff are especially excited about the installation of the new dish machine, which is part of the cafeteria upgrade.

The Woerner Missions building has also undergone exciting changes in almost every space within the building. The tile was removed and replaced with new flooring in the lobby, classrooms, offices, stairwells, and hallways on both the first and second floors. Additionally, each wall has been repainted in full.

TFC’s Grounds and Maintenance Departments have kept the campus as beautiful as ever! In addition to planting wildflowers at various locations, the Earl Hall parking median was cleared and reconstructed. Utilizing stone and new lighting, this area presents a better representation to welcome employees, students, and guests who are visiting campus.

With the hard work of TFC’s Maintenance Department, Ron Cantrell Construction, Chartwells Food Service, Toccoa Flooring, Taylor Painting, and HIS Roofing, we are able to welcome students to campus with many beautiful updates. Toccoa Falls College is thankful for a new year of continued opportunity to provide a space for students to flourish academically, socially, and spiritually.
