TFC Remembers Dr. Wayne Gardner, 6th President

Toccoa Falls, Ga. (April 16, 2026) – Toccoa Falls College is saddened to announce the passing of Dr. Wayne Gardner, retired President Emeritus. Dr. Gardner served as the sixth President of Toccoa Falls College (2004-2011). He also held leadership roles serving as Director of Alumni and College Relations (1983-1988), Vice President for Advancement (1988-2001), and Executive Vice President (2001-2002).

During Dr. Gardner’s presidency, Toccoa Falls College saw significant campus improvements, including facility upgrades and expanded technology. He also led growth in academic programs, including online education, while strengthening curriculum and institutional structure to support continued development.

The Toccoa Falls College community joins together in mourning his loss while celebrating a life well lived in service to God and others. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
