TFC was recognized on several lists for US News & World Report, whose rankings are based off of data from user feedback, higher education experts, and statistics from institutional researchers. TFC is ranked as #25 on Regional Colleges South, #8 in Top Performers of Social Mobility for Regional Colleges South, #11 in Best Value Schools for Regional Colleges South, and #11 in Best Colleges for Veterans for Regional Colleges South. US News & World Reports’ Social Mobility list recognizes schools who enroll and provide opportunities to economically disadvantaged students, and their Best Value list is determined by an institution’s academic quality and the cost of attendance for out-of-state students receiving average financial aid.

TFC was also recognized by the Princeton Review as one of the 143 Best Regional Colleges in the Southeast. The website features a total of 654 colleges that the Princeton Review recommends over five regions: Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, West, and International. The Southeast Region includes schools located in twelve states. The Princeton Review is an education services company known for its tutoring, test-prep, books, and other student resources.
