TFC Graduate Recognized for Excellence in North Georgia Healthcare

Toccoa Falls, Ga. (May 8, 2026) – Toccoa Falls College is celebrating with Fetterman School of Nursing alum, Tray Blackwell (class of ’24) for being awarded the NGMC Gainesville Nurse of the Year.

The award was announced as part of the Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) Nursing Excellence Gala held during National Nurses Week. Blackwell was recognized for consistently demonstrating the health system’s core values and providing exceptional, compassionate care.

These awards are presented annually to registered nurses who serve as outstanding role models and leaders within the nursing community.

Tray embodies TFC’s Christ-centered mission by serving patients with compassion, excellence, and integrity in the medical field.
