TFC Announces Counseling Psychology Scholarship Recipient

Toccoa Falls, Ga. (April 8, 2026) – Toccoa Falls College is excited to announce Julia Gray has been awarded the G. William Quarterman Rising Senior Scholarship.

Julia is seeking a double major in Counseling Psychology, with a concentration in Social Work and Outdoor Leadership Education.

Established in 2022, this $1,000 scholarship is presented to a junior majoring in Counseling Psychology who demonstrates strong potential in the helping professions.

The scholarship was established in honor of G. William “Bill” Quarterman upon his retirement after more than 30 years of service as chair of the Counseling Psychology Department. The award recognizes his longstanding commitment to student development and his lasting impact on the field of counselor education.
