TFC Announces 2025 Future Scholar Winner

Toccoa Falls, Ga. (November 10, 2025) – This past week Toccoa Falls College held the much-anticipated Future Scholars event. Each year one student is awarded a four-year, full ride scholarship to Toccoa Falls College. This opportunity is open for high school seniors who display excellent character, academic aptitude, and a commitment to Christ. During this two-day event, students participate in a series of activities and interviews led by TFC faculty and staff designed to expand on those desired qualities and characteristics.

TFC is excited to announce the 2025 Future Scholar is Sierra Hamilton!

Sierra is from Flowery Branch, Georgia and plans to major in Faith Based Organizations. Her desire is to work in a non-profit focusing on helping children and their families recover from traumatic events.

After receiving the phone call announcing her great achievement as the next Future Scholar, Sierra stated, “I was so shocked to receive the blessing of this award, there were many people who deserved it. I was also crying on the school bus because I was so happy! I am forever grateful and reminded it was not in my own strength but only by the grace of God!”

Thank you to faculty, staff and students who participated to make each attendee, and their families feel welcome at the largest attended Future Scholars event to date. The college is excited to see Sierra and many prospective students in August of 2026!
