At Toccoa Falls College, keeping our community and students safe is critical to a well functioning educational environment that excels in mutual respect, care, and accountability. We are committed to safety and implement around the clock safety measures, allowing the student experience to focus on the TFC mission: developing godly character with intellect.

There is only one entrance and exit to the TFC campus, which is located directly beside Stephens County Hospital. Anyone coming or going from campus passes the security guard station, where license plate photos are always taken. Additionally, in the evenings, the safety arm is lowered which prevents anyone without a student or staff vehicle sticker from entering campus.

Unlike many college campuses, Toccoa Falls College is located outside of a city and sits far from a main road. Students have 1,100 acres of beauty to explore without the worry of through traffic, creating an environment that feels like home. Whether students are walking between classes, playing disc golf, or enjoying one of the many on-campus waterfalls, they can rest assured that their safety is our priority.

These are just a few of the many reasons why Toccoa Falls College is considered one of the safest colleges in Georgia. As the TFC community grows, campus security personnel, the behavioral intervention team, and leadership are continuously making improvements and proactively enhancing safety inside and outside of each building, in addition to campus as a whole.
