Kronk Receives Wade Award for Teaching and Scholarship
On May 9th, Toccoa Falls College presented several faculty and staff members with various awards in recognition for their excellence and service to the college. One such award was the Wade Award for Teaching and Scholarship, sponsored by longtime educator and former Board of Trustee member, Dr. Thomas Wade. This year’s award was presented to Dr. Richard Kronk, Associate Professor of Cross-cultural in the Global Ministries Department.
Dr. Kronk oversees applied anthropological research and is a recognized scholar on immigrant resettlement. His book, Dreams and Visions, documents the miraculous journeys of many Muslim-background believers to Christ. He has published articles in Christianity Today and written chapters for books such as Ministry in Diverse Muslim Contexts, edited by Warrick Farah and Gene Daniels. Dr. Kronk is a faithful member of the Evangelical Missiological Society and regularly presents at EMS Conferences. His first-hand knowledge of France and Germany was instrumental in setting up the 2018 Study Abroad choir tour. Toccoa Falls College is happy to see Dr. Kronk recognized for his excellent scholarship, effective teaching, and his multiple contributions to academic life as a capable colleague. Dr. Kronk currently resides in Gainesville, Georgia.
TFC is proud to have Dr. Richard Kronk as a member of its faculty.
