Katie Thorne Named Vice President for Student Affairs

Toccoa Falls College is excited to announce the appointment of Katie Thorne as the new Vice President for Student Affairs. Katie enters this role as the current Interim Vice President for Student Affairs. Previously, Thorne served as the Director of Housing and Residence Life and as a Resident Director for Toccoa Falls since June of 2015.

As a TFC alumna, Thorne has a deep love and knowledge of the students and community at TFC. She begins this new leadership role excited to continuing working with everyone on campus, and with even more love for the students.

President, Dr. Myers, noted the national search and numerous applications received in filling this Vice President for Student Affairs position, but concluded “that our best candidate was already here at TFC” when announcing the selection of Thorne.

This appointment was effectively immediately with much celebration and congratulations from the entirety of the Toccoa Falls College community.
