Toccoa Falls, Ga. (September 19, 2024) – Last week, Toccoa Falls College celebrated the grand opening of the “Screaming Eagle Café,” TFC’s renovated and newly named dining option for students. Formerly known as the “Eagles Nest,” this space was renovated over the summer for students to begin enjoying in the fall of 2024.

The café offers a beautiful, new common space at Toccoa Falls College where students, faculty, and staff can connect with one another. The café is complete with booth-style seating, Starbucks services, on-the-go snacks and drinks, brand new furniture, a private study room, and a rebuilt wrap-around porch overlooking the mountains. Students can enjoy their favorite meals and snacks using Eagle Bucks, a declining balance automatically included with each meal plan and linked to their student ID. In addition to Eagle Bucks, students can make purchases with credit or debit cards, and take advantage of meal exchange swipes available through their meal plans.

Danny Dawkins, District Manager of Chartwells Higher Ed, TFC’s dining partner, shared, “the project is an investment in our ongoing partnership with Toccoa Falls College to provide innovative dining experiences for the campus community.” This completely renovated space is a testament to TFC’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the student experience on campus. The upgrades reflect our vision for creating inviting environments that foster connection, spiritual growth, and a sense of community, offering students a space to enjoy meals, study, and build relationships in a Christ-centered atmosphere.
