Dr. Bill Quarterman was recently presented with the “Lifetime Achievement Award” at the Licensed Professional Counseling Association of Georgia Annual Conference in LaGrange, GA.  Dr. Quarterman was recognized for his many years of contribution to the field of counseling.

Dr. Quarterman served as Director of the Stephens County Mental Health Department from 1987-1992.  He then served as tenured professor of Counseling Psychology at Toccoa Falls College, chairing the department for 28 years. During that time, he also served on the State Licensing Composite Board from 2006-2011, where he served as chairman for two years.  He will be retiring from Toccoa Falls College this month.
