Georgia Governor Brian Kemp recently issued a new executive order relaxing many of the Covid-19 restrictions previously in place.  We are very excited about this action, as it will now allow us to accommodate a limited number of guests at our 2021 commencement ceremony.

We are still obligated to abide by CDC guidelines and the governor’s executive order to ensure the safety of our students, staff, faculty, and guests.  Therefore, each graduate will be allowed to bring no more than two guests to the ceremony.  Every attendee will be required to wear a mask throughout the ceremony.

TFC will issue wristbands to the graduates for their guests, and these will be checked at the door prior to entry.  Every person entering the auditorium must have a wristband.  This includes children and infants.  Seating in the auditorium will be arranged for groups of two with as much distance as possible between groups.

We will professionally stream the ceremony live (Friday, April 23 at 7:00 PM) for any who remain uncomfortable attending commencement and for those friends and family without wristbands.

While we wish we could accommodate all family members and friends of our graduates, we believe this plan is the most responsible course of action.  We must still do everything in our power to assure the safety of those on our campus.  We are so excited to honor our graduates in one week!
