Congratulations to our 2018 Future Scholars winner, Emily Johnson! Emily is the daughter of Jeff and Melinda Johnson, and is a senior at West Laurens High School. Emily is a high achieving woman with a heart to serve in any capacity she can. She currently serves as the Dudley Baptist prayer breakfast leader for middle school girls, she is co-captain of FCA, secretary of SkillsUSA, and sits as the chair for service projects for the Anchor Club. The Anchor Club is a club dedicated specifically to serving the community of Laurens County,Georgia by educating them on brain related injuries and how to prevent such injuries. Emily was also named 2019 Distinguished woman of Laurens County. With all her accolades and positions of leadership, Emily is intentional about weaving in her testimony and boldly sharing her faith.

While at TFC, Emily plans to study Secondary education and she is more than ready for what the Lord has in store for her. With her impressive performance and heartfelt acceptance of this award, we are ever so proud to announce Emily as our newest Future Scholar!

Future Scholar Award winners are awarded a 4 year, full ride scholarship to Toccoa Falls College.
