When I’m away from the classroom, I enjoy: Coaching my daughter’s soccer team (Go Tigers), watching football (Go Dawgs), and diving into a heroic narrative be it in a book, movie, TV show, or especially a video game (some of the deepest, most complex narratives come from video-game scripts).
Fun Fact:
I am currently illustrating (and hopefully publishing this summer) a poetry book for kids titled “The Man Who Hated Cats” as a tribute to my late grandfather who sadly passed away before I was born. It is in the style of Dr. Seuss, who is—in my opinion—the greatest poet of all time.
