Counseling in Ministry

The Counseling in Ministry concentration within the Counseling Psychology degree program provides additional training for students who desire to use their degree within the context of ministry.  This concentration provides a more focused approach in the integration of Christianity and counseling and the practice of counseling ministry. Psychology and theology are integrated while retaining priority on evangelical doctrine and biblical authority. Students are encouraged to seek emotional wholeness and spiritual maturity, realizing healthy persons make better counselors.
