Want to prepare for leadership roles within a Christian setting? Study Faith-Based Organizations at Toccoa Falls College! The Ministry Leadership degree with a concentration in Faith-Based Organizations prepares students with the skills and knowledge necessary to work in the Christian non-profit sector. Students learn the basics of business, entrepreneurship, and management, and place a heavy emphasis on their formation as spiritual leaders.
Throughout their studies, students will increase their grasp of public relations and gain perspective on communicating Christ within our culture. Upon graduation, students are able to step directly into a variety of non-profit and faith-based organizational positions. There is a need for qualified Christian leaders in the non-profit sector. This program will prepare students to enter the non-profit and faith-based sector with the business, ministry and leadership skills and competencies needed to thrive.

Faith-Based Organizations Courses
The Ministry Leadership major with a Faith-Based Organizations concentration is a 126 hour program that includes 69 hours of general education courses (including 30 hours of Bible & Theology), 15 hours of open electives, and 42 hours in Ministry Leadership-specific courses (15 of which are hours dedicated to the Faith-Based Organizations concentration).

The faith-based organizations degree encourages students to live a life of service. As a result, many graduates go on to work in the human service industry. Some job opportunities that may be available for ministry leadership graduates include working as a social worker at a Christian organization or working in leadership at non-profit organizations.
