The following are basic job descriptions for student worker employment:

Circulation:
Involves working with people, checking books in and out, assisting with instructing patroons, shelving books, and supervising the area during evenings and weekends. Workers need to take initiative and are responsible for additional responsibilities based on their individual abilities.

Technical Services:
Involves adding spine labels to new books, filing, covering paperback books, repairing books and etc.

Reference Assistance
Involves working with people, assisting in finding reference materials, shelving books, maintaining a quiet, friendly atmosphere upstairs in the library, maintaining the computer lab, etc. Workers need to possess strong communication skills.
