Master Degree Transfer Policies
The College may accept on a limited basis up to 9 graduate credits from regionally accredited colleges, universities, and programs, provided the work is equivalent to a Toccoa Falls College graduate level course, has been earned in conjunction with the completion of a 500 level or higher course, and a grade of B or better was earned.
Transfer Credit Practices of Designated Educational Institutions, published by the American Association of Collegiate Academic Registrars and Admissions Officers, is used as a general guide in determining acceptability.
Foreign Evaluation of Transfer Credits
The following policies apply to credits students have earned at foreign institutions and wish to transfer to TFC.
- In order to accurately and consistently evaluate foreign credentials, Toccoa Falls College requires all international college or university transcripts to be evaluated by a College-approved evaluation service. Among others, College approved evaluation services include those agencies that are members of or affiliated with the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) and the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admission Officers (AACRAO).
- Toccoa Falls College will not award any transfer credit from foreign credentials without an evaluation from an approved evaluation service.
- The fee for evaluation is the responsibility of the student.
