Our Community

Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Toccoa Falls College is just 1.5 hours northeast of Atlanta, Georgia. Our beautiful 1,100-acre campus allows students and visitors to enjoy gorgeous views of the mountain scenery while also offering many outdoor activities such as rock-climbing, whitewater rafting, hiking, camping and more. Recently ranked among the “Top 50 Most Beautiful Christian Colleges & Universities” in the US, the campus is home to the historic “Toccoa Falls” waterfall. At 186 feet, the waterfall stands taller than Niagara Falls and is the tallest free-falling waterfall east of the Mississippi River.

In addition to the campus beauty, TFC students and visitors enjoy the relaxed, “Southern Hospitality” only a small hometown can provide. Small businesses grace the historic downtown Toccoa area, where season events such as A Toast of Toccoa, the Ida Cox Music Festival, the Toccoa Symphony Orchestra, the Currahee Military Weekend, the Toccoa Harvest Festival, and Christmas Fest, always bring fun and activity to the downtown area. Nearby are larger areas of interest including The Currahee Club (A Southern Living inspired Community), Lake Hartwell, and Tallulah Gorge State Park.
