Congratulations to the TFC Lady Screaming Eagles Women’s Volleyball team as they head to The 2017 DII Women’s Volleyball National Championship. The Championship game will be held November 16th-18th at Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC.

The Lady Screaming Eagles had a very successful season thanks to Head Coach Selina Slate. The Screaming Eagles finished their season with a 20-10 record. Several key figures deserve special recognition for their contribution to the team’s outstanding season.

Congratulations go to Head Coach Selina Slate finishing her 23rd year coaching and winning the Coach Of The Year Award. Coach Slate is a powerhouse coach and TFC is proud to have her on its side.

Kaitlin Weidner, a Senior from Corry, PA, was awarded the First Team Award and was also nominated as the MVP. Kaitlin has played a huge role on the Women’s Volleyball team and will be greatly missed.

Katie Hall, a Junior from Flowery Branch, GA, was the 5th player to be awarded the First Team Award. Katie is a great player and has so much to offer the Women’s Volleyball team. TFC is excited to have her back again next year.

Kayle Glore, a Sophomore from Austell, GA, was awarded the Second Team Award. Kayle is a hard worker and is always hustling on the court.

Toccoa Falls College is extremely proud of Coach Selina Slate and the entire Lady Screaming Eagles team. We wish them all the best as they travel to the National Championship next week.
