Impact TFC had on my life:
Joe says, “TFC brought to life my spiritual development in a whole new way. I was walking with the Lord and active in my local church, but it was at TFC that I was really disciplined in how to grow in Christ and be held accountable. Professors and students both greatly impacted my spiritual walk. While serving as an RA at TFC, I was challenged to understand the uniqueness of each individual and how God had built them just the way He wanted them. My privilege was to walk the journey with them in developing their spiritual lives. The great times of sharing and holding one another accountable made a significant impact on my spiritual growth. There were many very practical tools that I learned as well by traveling in music groups for the school and working in the Alumni Office. I have great memories of my years at TFC. Walking through the experience of the flood of 1977 was an amazing demonstration of God’s love and protection on the TFC family. I was overwhelmed at how God used this disaster to further His kingdom.”

Other items of interest:
“My hobby these days is cooking. I have taken classes in a broad variety of food interests. I have used food as a way to open doors for ministry in Malaysia, Ecuador, and North Africa on mission trips and by teaching a children’s cooking school the last three years in my own church. God has blessed me richly!”
